The Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting entries for its 16th annual Christmas Card Art Contest, with the winning design to be featured on this year’s card and offered for sale during the holiday season.
Entries must depict a Merrill Christmas scene, past or present, and are due by Oct. 12, 2026. Artwork may be submitted in acrylic, pen and ink, watercolor, or oil, and each artist may submit one entry. Pieces should measure between 14 by 18 inches and 18 by 24 inches.
A panel of judges will select the image that best captures the spirit of Christmas in Merrill. The winning artist will receive a $150 Merrill Chamber gift certificate, and the artwork will appear on the 2026 Christmas card and in future chamber promotions.
Submitted artwork becomes the property of the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce, which may use it in various promotional displays. All submissions must be original works.
