2 transported to hospital after crash in Carolina Forest area

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Two people are being transported to the hospital for evaluation after a crash in the Carolina Forest area Friday morning, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.

Officials said the two-vehicle crash happened in the area of Carolina Forest Boulevard and Canterbury Drive, and lanes of River Oaks Drive-bound Carolina Forest Boulevard traffic are currently blocked.

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 8:08 a.m.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
