Angel McCoughtry has been using musical analogies to describe some of the Indiana Fever’s top stars.
The Fever have secured a spot in the 2026 playoffs, but their inconsistent defence has been a problem, including on Thursday night when they were beaten by the Minnesota Lynx.
Still, they have one of the best offences in the league, largely down to Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston.
Now, McCoughtry, who won medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics in women’s basketball with Team USA, has described the Fever as a ‘full orchestra’ and highlighted the roles of the aforementioned trio.
In a recent video that has been shared via X/Twitter, she said: “The Indiana Fever are like a full orchestra.
“Caitlin is the conductor. Kelsey is the lead violinist; she hits every big note. Aliyah is like the bass that keeps it grounded.
“And when everyone is playing together, it’s hard to stop, it’s a beautiful orchestra.”
