CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Cloudy skies with cooler temps and scattered showers/drizzle for the last full day of Summer

Thanks to the clouds, temperatures only climb a couple of degrees into the upper 50s and low 60s for highs. Shower chances continue into the evening and overnight hours with lows in the low to mid 50s.

Look for some lingering showers Tuesday morning, but these taper off by noon as skies gradually become partly cloud. Highs Tuesday reach the upper 50s and low 60s with lows Tuesday night all the way down into the middle and upper 40s.

Wednesday and Thursday are both expected to be partly cloudy and dry before more chances for scattered showers arrive Friday into next weekend. Temperatures remain cool and comfortable during the remainder of the week, with highs in the mid 60s to near 70 and lows in the 50s.
