AABB updates DHQ medication deferral list to add B-cell-depleting therapies

AABB has released

Association Bulletin #26-05and animplementation toolkitoutlining updates to theDonor History Questionnaire v4.0 Medication Deferral List. The update adds CD19-, CD20- and CD52-targeted B-cell-depleting monoclonal antibody therapies under a six-month donor deferral. AABB-accredited facilities must implement the updated list by March 31, 2027.Full story:
