Against a Jackrabbit squad which entered the contest ranking third in the nation in both goals per game (4.14) and goal differential (+24), the Aggies limited their visitors to just five total shots with just two on goal. Meanwhile, Utah State had its fourth-consecutive showing with 15-plus shots, tallying 21 with 14 on frame. The Aggies jumped on top in the 33rd minute when junior defender Kaeda Wilson netted her first goal of the year, delivering a left-footed laser from 25 yards out to the top right corner of the net to make it 1-0. With the goal, Wilson became the 12th different USU player to score this season.
