The Georgia Bulldogs host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Both Georgia and Oklahoma are a bit banged up entering the contest.
The Sooners will notably be without All-SEC offensive lineman Michael Fasusi. Fasusi suffered a shoulder injury in the Sooners' season opener against UTEP and has been unable to return. He was ruled as out on the SEC availability report. Fasusi is a second-team preseason All-SEC pick.
"He's only played limited snaps in the first half of the opener against UTEP," ESPN's Pete Thamel said via social media. "He's dealing with a shoulder injury that cost him the last two games."
With Fasusi out, Oklahoma will have to hope they can do a better job of establishing the run. The Sooners are second-to-last in the SEC in rushing yards per game (110.3) and yards per attempt (3.31). Oklahoma has allowed six sacks this season and faces a Georgia pass rush that is still looking to make a significant impact on the opposing quarterback.
