Andrew Garfield, Owen Thiele & More Stars Were on Delta Flight That Made Emergency Landing

Andrew Garfield, Nick Robinson, Owen Thiele, and several other celebrities unexpectedly found themselves traveling together when their flight was diverted on Wednesday (September 9).

The stars were among 235 passengers aboard Delta Flight 958, which was traveling from Los Angeles International Airport to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the plane diverted to Albuquerque, New Mexico after a “smoky odor” was detected aboard the aircraft. Delta emphasized that the plane landed safely and without incident.

A Love Island USA contestant was also on the diverted flight

In addition to Andrew, Nick, and Adults star Owen, the passenger list included Love Island USA contestant Dylan Wrona and musician Mark Ambor.

A Delta representative apologized to the passengers in a statement and said the airline’s employees worked to get everyone to their intended destinations as quickly as possible. The company described the landing as “uneventful” and did not report a fire aboard the plane.
