Anita Mae Kieliszewski (née Maslowski), beloved mother, grandmother and friend, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Oct. 19, 2026, at the age of 85.

Anita was born Dec. 15, 1940, in Stevens Point, Wis., daughter of the late Stephan and Stella (Kiedrowski) Maslowski. She grew up in the area where she attended Bruski School and Maria High School.

In 1963, Anita married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Kieliszewski. They lived in Milwaukee for a few years before moving back to Bob’s family farm in Stevens Point. Together they raised four boys and built a life surrounded by family and friends.

Anita was a caring woman who loved to cook and had a passion for gardening, sharing her vegetables and treats with neighbors. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the love she gave, and the stories she helped preserve, as Anita’s great-grandparents immigrated to Portage County from Poland in the 1800s.

Anita is survived by her four sons, Gary, Dan, Rob (Renee) and Roger (Sheila); her granddaughter, Brittany (Jason) Schmidt; and her grandson, Legend (Brandi VanPay). She is further survived by her sister, Betty (...
