Anoma has introduced a new addition to its A1 series featuring a unique dial inspired by the Optical Art movement. The watch showcases fifty individually engraved triangles on its dial, each carefully sandblasted and hand-polished to enhance its reflective quality. This innovative design creates a dynamic visual experience, shifting with changing light conditions.
Offered with options of a copper or silver dial, the timepiece is housed in a sculptural 39mm by 39mm case made from 316L stainless steel, measuring just 9.45mm in thickness. Powered by a Sellita SW100 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, it combines precision with aesthetic appeal. The watch is complemented by a textured Italian leather strap with a shaped buckle that matches the case.
Artist Adam Fuhrer, known for his optical art, collaborated on this project by creating a pen-drawn print inspired by the dial design, which will be included with each purchase.
Pre-orders for the A1 Optical will begin on August 7th.
Priced at approximately £2,200 (around $2,923), available at anomawatches.com.
