Anya Taylor-Joy is having one hell of a year. She already has the first billion-dollar movie of 2026 under her belt, she's heading back to Arrakis before the year is out, and right now, three of her projects are finding big audiences at home at the same time.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, The Gorge and Lucky are all performing on streaming, giving Taylor-Joy three hits across film and television at once. Better still, she's got another movie coming to Netflix in a couple of weeks. Lucky has been a big one for Apple TV. The seven-part crime thriller debuted at No. 1 in the United States, knocking Silo out of the top spot, with Taylor-Joy starring as a con artist who thought she'd escaped her old life until her past comes looking for her again.
Then there's The Gorge, which has stuck around for a long time. Taylor-Joy stars opposite Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick) in the sci-fi action movie, which premiered on Apple TV in 2025 and has continued finding viewers well into 2026.
