Orlando Bloom gives the latest Pirates of the Caribbean 6 update
Actor Orlando Bloom recently attended the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival, where he gave an update on Pirates of the Caribbean 6 while speaking to Entertainment Weekly. The update follows producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s comment last month that they are currently working on the movie’s screenplay.
Bloom referred to his co-stars from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, such as Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Keira Knightley, and Jack Davenport, and described them as a “really good group of people.” However, he didn’t confirm whether he will return as Will Turner and stated that he hasn’t heard from the producers of the sixth film.
The actor also suggested that nostalgia is one reason producers and fans “keep harking back to these things.”
