Arkansas's prominent lobbyist Ted Mullenix is transforming a historic property into the new Rose Creek Station, located atop a hill across Third Street from the state Capitol. Moving his office from the Winthrop Rockefeller Building, Mullenix is renovating a nearly century-old house into a modern workspace, aiming to complete the project by Labor Day.
The 13-acre site, acquired through multiple transactions totaling at least $2.8 million, will feature approximately 6,000 square feet of office space spread over two floors. The building, formerly a residence and later converted into apartments and offices, was largely vacant before Mullenix's redevelopment.
Additionally, the development will include a restaurant named Fork, led by Little Rock chef Ira Mittelman, occupying a former Mexican restaurant space. Mittelman, known for closing popular local eateries like Park Hill Grill and Ira’s Restaurant, aims to bring a new dining destination to the area.
