Authorities Apprehend Man in Lewiston After Discharging Handgun
LEWISTON, Idaho — Authorities apprehended a 58-year-old man from Sequim, Washington, on Wednesday after he allegedly discharged a handgun from his vehicle while traveling from Washington into Idaho, as reported by Idaho State Police (ISP).
Incident Details
The incident originated in Whitman County, Washington, where the suspect was observed firing a firearm from his GMC Sierra pickup truck. ISP officials indicated that the individual also aimed and fired at a Washington State Patrol officer prior to crossing into Idaho.

According to reports, a 911 call was made about the suspect's erratic behavior along U.S. Highway 95 in Lewiston. The caller described the man waving a handgun through his vehicle's sunroof and firing at another car near Lewiston Hill.
