Join Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 for an intimate artist talk marking the closing of IMAGO Gallery’s “Homage to Howard Windham,” an artist, teacher and long-time IFA exhibiting artist.
The gallery is located at 36 Market Street in Warren, Rhode Island.
Howard’s daughter, Brett Day Windham, will discuss how her father influenced her work, the creative through-lines across four generations of her family, and her approach to being an artist, writer, and curator.
Howard Windham’s collages, paintings, and sculptures along with artwork by his daughter Brett Day Windham and son Corey Turner Windham are on exhibit at Imago for the month of September offering a look back at Howard’s work from the 1960s through the 2020s and the through lines that show up in works by his first- and third-born children.
