Kevin Eder concluded the third and final night of the 38th annual Northern Nationals at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior with a blowout victory in the WISSOTA Late Model feature on Saturday night, Sept. 12.
The Cameron, Wisconsin native started from the pole and was already more than 1.5 seconds ahead through three laps. While Kevin Burdick and Ashley Anderson dueled for second place and laps wound down without a caution flag, Eder checked out, lapping cars all the way up to sixth place.

Eder’s final margin was 8.35 seconds, nearly a half-lap ahead of Burdick, as he capped his second Northern Nationals win in as many years and fourth all-time, second in the Late Model division. Burdick and Anderson finished second and third, with Darrell Nelson and Dave Flynn rounding out the top five.
Saturday’s other victors were all first-timers for the event: Kaden Blaeser of Chippewa Falls in WISSOTA Modifieds, Shawn McFadden of Ashland in WISSOTA Super Stock and Kolby Kiehl of Barron in WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds.
