Avista Initiates Gas Line Upgrades on Old Melrose Road, Traffic Disruptions Anticipated

Starting Wednesday, August 6 at 7:30 AM, Avista, in collaboration with Canyon Pipeline Inc., will commence installation of approximately 8,250 feet of 6-inch polyethylene gas pipeline along Old Melrose Road. This project aims to enhance the natural gas infrastructure and ensure more reliable service for residents of Roseburg, Oregon. The construction will temporarily impact traffic on Old Melrose Road and is projected to continue for two to three months. Work hours are scheduled from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
