Bandai Namco Announces Enhanced Remake of Pac-Man World 2 for 2025 Release

Bandai Namco is set to launch a revamped version of the classic platformer Pac-Man World 2, titled Pac-Man World Re-Pac, scheduled for release on September 26, 2025. Developed by NOW PRODUCTION, this remake will be available across multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game preserves the original storyline where Pac-Man endeavors to retrieve the stolen Golden Fruit from the ghost king Spooky, while introducing enhanced visuals, expanded levels, and a revamped hub called Pac-Village. The remake features numerous updates such as full voice acting, improved camera controls, new movement abilities like flutter jump and butt-bounce, and redesigned boss battles.
