In the past I would be concerned about Oregon State easing off the gas against an FCS opponent, but under Shephard and staff, I don’t think that will be the case. The Beavers use this game to find their winning ways. After two close losses, the Beavers are singing Hail to Old OSU by nights end.

I see Oregon State putting everything together on Saturday and taking a three-score victory against the Grizzlies on Saturday night. Montana is a very good FCS team to be sure, but the Beavers are hungry for a win after two very tough losses against elite competition. While Montana is definitely a very good FCS program (currently sitting #2 in the rankings), the results of their first three games don’t give me any indication that we need to lose any sleep over this one. If the Beavs play at anything close to the level of their first two games, they should take this one pretty comfortably.
