Booths of handmade goods and spiritual services lined the National Corvette Museum floor for the fourth annual Fool Moon Sisters’ Bazaar.
Mama Ruby Productions, an event production company based in Bowling Green, Lexington and Elizabethtown, Kentucky, organized the Saturday arts festival. The festival aimed to highlight local businesses and celebrate the arts.
Vendors sold a wide variety of goods, including jewelry, candles, pottery, crystals, books, decorations and accessories. Other vendors provided services, such as tarot readings, massages and psychic advice. Entertainment included live dance performances and guided meditative exercises.
One vendor, Pragmatic Designs LLC, specializes in wire-wrapped jewelry, handmade from crystals and stones.
“To me, it (jewelry) is a way that I can express myself artistically and still make a profit off of it,” Anna Reams, owner of Pragmatic Designs LLC, said.
Reams also enjoys drawing charcoal portraits and writing poetry, but felt that her works in those mediums are too personal to commercialize.
“I’m a very artistic person, but sometimes art is too personal to sell,” Reams said.
