Bill Burr looked at the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and somehow decided the health care executives who feared becoming the next target were the people who needed to do some soul-searching.
The comedian used a new interview to argue that corporate leaders responded the wrong way after Luigi Mangione shot Thompson on a Manhattan sidewalk. Instead of removing their photos and hiring security, Burr suggested, they should have examined what their industry was doing to make someone commit such an act.
