The seventh consecutive win is FIU's longest streak since 2011. Jacksonville started strong in a run-and-gun first set, as FIU did not find its footing until after the media timeout. Trailing 15-12, the block got going in a 5-0 run for a 17-15 lead. Teodora Skocajic combined for a pair and Mariana Silva added her ninth ace of the weekend to put the Panthers in control early, a lead they held on to.
