PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Pensacola Blue Wahoos manager Nelson Prada and pitcher Eliazar Dishmey received special 2026 season honors.

Prada is the second Blue Wahoos representative to win league manager of the year. The Blue Wahoos finished with an overall record of 79-58, the best record in the Southern League.
Prada is coming off his second season as the Blue Wahoos manager.
Dishmey joined the Blue Wahoos’ roster on May 26, almost two months after the start of the 2026 Minor League Season. In 16 regular-season starts, Dishmey accumulated a season ERA of 3.30, struck out 92 batters in 71 innings and held teams to a .183 batting average.
