Oct. 11, 1976 – NEW MANAGER, NEW NAME
Lakeshore Motors in Sandpoint at 105 Pine has a new owner and a new name. Jean Johnson, a five year resident of Sandpoint who is married and the father of three children, purchased the Datsun dealership from Fran Hiatt and renamed it Lakecity Motors. Bob Ainsworth is the new service manager.

TEEN LODGE PLANS OPEN HOUSE
Public Awareness will be the goal at the Idaho Teen Lodge on Oct. 16, said Harold Rhodes, president of the Teen Lodge Board of Directors. Tours for the public, and an official ceremony dedicating the 34-acre, eight-building complex as a 24-hour residential youth center will highlight the occasion. The Open House is from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., with the Dedication ceremony at 1. The Teen Lodge, located at the former U.S. Forest Service Ranger Station at Clark Fork, is a private, non-profit group treatment facility for 22 delinquent and dependent boys.
