Broadway Revival of 'Liberation' Set for 14-Week Run This Fall
Bess Wohl's acclaimed play "Liberation" is making its way to Broadway this fall after a successful debut Off-Broadway earlier this year. The limited 14-week run is set to start on October 8 at the James Earl Jones Theatre, with opening night scheduled for October 28. Directed by Whitney White, who also led the Off-Broadway production, the show is transferring from the Roundabout Theatre Company, although the non-profit organization is not involved in the Broadway production team. The new staging is produced by Daryl Roth, Eva Price, Rachel Sussman, and Jenny Gersten. Wohl expressed her excitement, stating, "Bringing Liberation to Broadway is a dream come true. This play has been close to my heart for a long time, and I am thrilled to continue its journey with this talented team."
