He briefly took the lead with a birdie on the 16th, only for Rahm and Ballester to birdie the 18th, forcing a playoff. In the decisive 18th hole, both Rahm and Ballester missed their birdie attempts from 12 feet, allowing Burmester to secure the victory. His win earned him $4 million, marking his second LIV Golf title.
