WOODLAND — Cache Creek Conservancy has been named one of 10 finalists for the 2026 Impact100 Greater Sacramento grants, making the organization eligible for $100,000 in transformational funding. This year’s awards, $100,000 for each Focus Area, total $500,000, and is the largest in Impact100 Greater Sacramento’s history.
Cache Creek Conservancy works to restore, preserve, and protect the Cache Creek watershed through land stewardship, habitat restoration, community and cultural collaboration and environmental education. Founded in 1995, the Conservancy is a primary habitat restoration partner of the Cache Creek Area Plan, an element of Yolo County’s general plan, and it manages the 130-acre Cache Creek Nature Preserve along a 14-mile stretch of Lower Cache Creek.
