Calzedonia Makes Room for a Fashion Week Reset
The Italian label brought hosiery, beauty, and customization together at its brownstone-inspired downtown pop-up
Calzedonia entered New York Fashion Week with one of the schedule’s rarest luxuries: a place to stop. For The Stoop, the Italian hosiery and beachwear label transformed 188 Lafayette Street into its take on the front steps of a classic New York brownstone.
Celebrity hairstylist Anh Co Tran refreshed attendees’ hair, while Beauty of Joseon offered makeup touch-ups. Calzedonia carried the makeup concept into legwear with its new Invisible Makeup Effect 15 Denier Tights. Available in six shades, the sheer matte style is designed to subtly even the appearance of the skin and create a smoother, more uniform look. Its lightweight construction is suited to warmer weather, and a finer toe seam makes it easier to style with open-toe shoes.
Jordyn and Jodie Woods stopped by the pop-up, as did Vale Genta, Vienna Skye, Greta Louise Tome, Kit Keenan, Audrey Trullinger, Lauren Wolfe, Shay Sullivan, Kira Kirby, Veronika Collins, Rose Lola, and Yuzu Joy. Editors, stylists, and creators kept the space active throughout the weekend.
