This week on “It’s Worth Mentioning,” Nick Banish joins us to discuss the expansion of Idaho’s Collaborative Cloud Seeding program. During a public meeting in Rexburg on Aug. 5, the Idaho Water Resource Board approved the addition of a second aircraft for cloud seeding operations in eastern Idaho. Banish provides some perspective on how this will increase the ability to augment water from the clouds.
He also explains what cloud seeding is, how it works, and clears up some misconceptions.
