Carolyn Louise Reisetter, 83, passed peacefully into the loving hands of the Lord on October 15, 2026, at 7:47 a.m., surrounded by her family. Her final moments were embraced by the love of those who now carry her memory forward—a love that death cannot diminish and time cannot erase.
Carolyn’s life included a meaningful career caring for others as a certified surgical technologist. She served at hospitals including Scripps in San Diego, California; Sister’s Hospital, and Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. Her work called for precision, composure, and compassion, placing her beside others during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. That service is an enduring part of the life we honor.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Carolyn held a cherished place in her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Across generations, her life became woven into the lives of those who loved her. Their memories, family stories, and shared love will keep her close in the years ahead.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Reisetter; daughter, Sherie (Michael) Goodwin, and son, David (Christine) Hestand.
