It has been a long 10 months for the Mahomes family since Patrick suffered the torn ACL injury in December 2025. He has been working all offseason towards his return, and the time has finally come.

Mahomes is back in the lineup for the Chiefs' Week 1 game against the Broncos, their division rivals. He had worked for months to get his knee ready to go for the start of the season.
