“I’ve been scratching my head trying to think who the celebrities were,” Pagano said. “And then I’m thinking, we had the biggest sports personality at every single game and nobody even knew it. You know who I’m talking about? Pat McAfee. He told us what he was going to do, and look at him. He’s the biggest sports celebrity of our generation and we had him at every single game and nobody knew it.”
Pagano coached McAfee with the Colts from 2012-2016.
The Colts will look to contain Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Sunday. Mahomes threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown in his return from injury in Week 1.
