Cincinnati Open 2025 to feature extensive renovations and expanded player fields

The 2025 Cincinnati Open is set to showcase nearly all of tennis's leading players, enhanced by a $260 million upgrade to the Lindner Family Tennis Center's facilities. Following this substantial investment, the tournament will be more impressive than ever, expanding its men's and women's singles draws from 56 to 96 players. To support the larger fields, ten additional practice courts have been constructed near the main Grandstand Court, along with a new indoor six-court tennis complex. A modern two-story clubhouse has also been built for players, offering amenities such as a lounge and restaurant, as well as improved spaces for support teams, wellness, and recovery. The campus now boasts 31 courts—ten more than in 2024—and features the new Champions Court, a sunken stadium capable of seating 2,000 spectators, making it the fourth-largest permanent stadium at the venue. All courts have been repainted with vibrant new colors, and a permanent pavilion has been installed to provide shaded viewing areas for fans.
