Jon Jones, who is widely regarded as one of the best MMA fighters of all time, has played a key role in the emergence of Gable Steveson in the world of combat sports.
The 39-year-old UFC legend has taken Steveson under his wing and acted as both a corner coach and mentor to his heavyweight protege during his early transition into MMA.
However, Jones has faced growing scrutiny since last Saturday after Steveson lost in only his second UFC fight against Sean Sharaf at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
