Lakeshore Community Services is inviting the community to take part in its third annual "Race for the Rest of Us" tomorrow at the Millcreek Mall, raising funds to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs.
The race, a lighthearted 0.5K featuring two laps around Dick's Sporting Goods, welcomes participants of all athletic abilities, whether they choose to run, walk, or stroll the course.
Everyone who takes part will receive a doughnut from Mighty Fine Doughnuts, Niagara Creamery ice cream, and beverages at the finish line.
Organizers say the fundraiser helps support Lakeshore Community Services' mission while bringing the community together for a fun and inclusive event.
Although pre-registration numbers are lower than expected, the organization hopes more people will sign up on race day.
The Race for the Rest of Us begins at noon tomorrow outside Dick's Sporting Goods at the Millcreek Mall.
