Southern Californians will finally get a break from heat waves, with cooler, fall-like temperatures expected this week.
Temperatures have been unusually warm for this time of year due to offshore flow, but this morning, temperatures were in the low 60s in areas like Malibu, Downtown L.A., Torrance, and Pasadena.
Starting tomorrow night, there is a chance of rain. A low-pressure system is expected to reach the coast by Tuesday evening and will bring extensive showers across the central coast after midnight. Heavier showers will stay north of L.A. County.
