To the Editor:
This November individuals of Dekalb County will have the opportunity to elect individuals to guide our community into the future. Obviously our community has seen the importance of this election; there are more individuals running from both parties than ever before.
One of these candidates is Chris “The Ref” Refner, who is running for Dekalb County Council District #2 position. I have known Chris Refner for many years. Chris is an honest, trustworthy, hardworking, well educated man with open minded ideas who is willing to listen to individuals and form opinions and make decisions based on the individuals he will be representing.
Chris is a well rounded individual who has been involved in our community in many facets, he survived in the U.S. Army, attended Ball State University, received a Degree in Education, and teaches in the Dekalb County Central United School District. Chris is a dedicated family man and is involved in several community activities: School Science Fairs, Excelsior Arts Academy, and the Dekalb County Indiana Democratic Party. Chris is a great husband and father.
