Darren Todd Lee Obituary
Darren Todd Lee, age 61, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at his home. He was born May 10, 1965, in Boonville, a son of Nelson and Darlene (Coffman) Lee.
Darren graduated from Versailles High School in 1983. He went to CMSU and graduated Cum Laude in 1987, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics.
He was hired out of college as a computer programmer and coder. The company provided software for reservations for TWA as well as various travel systems including hotels and rental cars. Darren lived in Kansas City near his work. He stayed with the company after its sale to Worldspan. He received numerous recognitions for excellence. He retired when the company moved.
Darren played golf in high school and was a member of the National Honor Society. He could solve a Rubik’s cube in nothing flat. He loved studying history and enjoyed the History Channel as well as National Geographic. Darren also played chess and won awards in tournaments in the early 90’s.
He continues to be a member of the Glensted United Methodist Church. He came back for the Lord’s Acre Sale some years.
