Departing LIV Golf stars have one clear way into new PGA Tour Championship Series

Winning one of the four major tournaments will provide LIV Golfers with a direct pathway to secure their status on the PGA Tour.

Brian Rolapp announced this morning that the PGA Tour does not plan to implement the Returning Member Program that was used earlier this year to allow Brooks Koepka to return. He was the only one who took advantage of the opportunity, but Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and Cameron Smith let the door close.

Following LIV Golf's recent Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, several players are considering a transition to the PGA Tour, but it's not that simple.

Rolapp laid out the conditions for anyone looking to join the PGA Tour today. There are almost no exceptions, as everyone will have to prove and work their way into playing with the world's best.

"The PGA Tour is built on meritocracy. Every player, whether they are a member or want to become one, must earn their place," said Rolapp today in a media press conference.
