But school’s almost in session, and a meal plan is mandatory for first-year students. It’s about time to buckle up and bid those home-cooked dinners adieu.

The Open Access meal plan
Food is always available for first-year students. Through automatic enrollment in the Open Access meal plan, students receive infinite meal swipes at all of the dining halls.
Worry not about wasting a swipe. Wildcats can munch on as much — or snack on as little — as they would like. In a pinch, they can also pop in and pick up a proper to-go container. And sharing is caring. The three allotted guest swipes per quarter permit access for friends and family to any dining hall.
But if the dining hall doesn’t do it, the Open Access meal plan also offers a reprieve from the routine. Two other perks include dining dollars and meal exchanges.
