Disney Announces Major Renovations at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Other Resorts

Disney is undertaking a major renovation project at its Animal Kingdom Lodge in Orlando, signaling a significant update to one of its popular resorts. The refurbishment begins with Kidani Village in October 2025, with work expected to continue until May 2026. Once completed, efforts will shift to Jambo House, with renovations scheduled until January 2027. Guests staying during these periods should be aware that construction activities are primarily planned during daytime hours, which may result in some noise and visible activity outside guest rooms.
