On Friday, Sept. 11, I attended the Chamber of Commerce luncheon. Josh Wooten gave a wonderful speech to commemorate those lost in the 9/11 attacks. Then it quickly went downhill when they handed JJ Grow a microphone. Within minutes, I realized I was stuck in a political rally devoted to putting lipstick on a pig.
JJ Grow has not delivered for Citrus County in the Florida House. Most of his bills go nowhere. He introduced HB 129, a bill that would block certain lawsuits against pesticide companies. Grow appears to work for his own interests and donors — the big chemical companies — not the people of his district. District 23 deserves better.
