GRAND FORKS — The University of North Dakota is the recipient of $1 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, to be used for research within the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research.
The announcement came from the office of U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D. A release about the funding said the announcement supports an executive order from President Donald Trump — “Restoring Gold Standard Science” — and advances research in areas critical to the nation’s scientific and technological leadership.
