MainStreet Cleveland has planned a celebration of the life, music, and legacy of one of Tennessee’s most beloved icons with Dolly Parton Day Downtown from 9 to 5 at First Street Square on Friday, 9/25.
The celebration features a full day of Dolly-inspired music, entertainment, community activities, and special experiences at downtown businesses.
From the opening notes of Dolly’s music in First Street Square to a special group run and walk at 5 p.m., the community is invited to spend the day celebrating Dolly’s remarkable legacy and the values of music, generosity, creativity and community that she represents.

Dolly music
A DJ will keep Dolly’s music playing throughout the day at First Street Square, along with interactive games and a few surprises. At 1 p.m., there will be live bluegrass music with the boys from Papaw Odell’s Acoustic Instruments.
