DoorDash is delivering so much more than just food to your door these days.
The San Francisco-based company is broadening its retail footprint, announcing new partnerships with Macy's, Anthropologie, The North Face, Vans and Timberland to offer apparel delivery in as little as an hour.
According to the company's announcement, the brands will list their products on DoorDash's U.S. website, with drivers handling deliveries. Macy's had previously used DoorDash for same-day delivery, but the new agreement formalizes that relationship and adds Macy's inventory directly to the DoorDash platform.
DoorDash also plans to expand its return pickup service nationwide in November. Customers can have drivers collect return items purchased through the app for a flat fee of $7.99. The company has been testing the service in select U.S. markets.
The moves build on partnerships DoorDash recently announced with Gap, Costco, Barnes & Noble and Kohl's, ABC News reported.
Founded in 2013 as a restaurant delivery service, DoorDash added grocery delivery in 2020. The company has since continued expanding its retail offerings to attract new customers.
