DOTD warns commercial carriers of service disruptions affecting the LAGeaux Truck Permitting software

BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advised commercial carriers and the trucking industry of intermittent service disruptions affecting the LAGeaux Truck Permitting software due to a statewide server outage.

Due to the outage, DOTD is temporarily unable to issue and receive payment of oversize or overweight permits.

"DOTD recognizes the importance of timely permits and is working closely with the Office of Technology Services (OTS) to restore normal operations as soon as possible," read a statement from DOTD.
