Dr. James Drake began work as Godley ISD’s new chief financial officer on Thursday. Drake brings decades of experience in education, school finance and operations, along with a perspective shaped by his years as a classroom teacher.
“I was impressed by Dr. Drake’s depth of knowledge and the range of experience he brings to this role,” Superintendent Rich Dear said. “He understands that the decisions we make about resources affect what happens in classrooms every day. I look forward to the leadership Dr. Drake will provide as our district and community continue to grow.”
