MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Hopkins County Schools has announced that Dr. Whitney Peay will serve as the district’s new director of school counseling and mental health programs.
Peay brings a background in clinical mental health, school counseling, crisis intervention and counselor education to the district leadership position. She most recently served as a school counselor at Greenville Elementary School.
“I am excited to join Hopkins County Schools in this new role,” Peay said. “Counseling has been such a meaningful part of my life and career, and the opportunity to expand that work across an entire district is incredibly special to me.
