The Bulldogs (4-7) defeated the Eagles (2-12) by scores of 25-18, 30-32, 25-16 and 25-21. The two sides went back and forth early in the opening set, battling to ties at 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6 and 9-9. Union began to create separation from there, using a four-point run to take a 13-9 advantage. Midway couldn't slow the Bulldogs' momentum as Union stretched its lead to 19-10.
