Penta could be in line for one of the biggest wins of his WWE career at Money in the Bank. A new report claimed that several people within WWE creative now viewed the former Intercontinental Champion as the “heavy favorite” to win the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
The report came from WrestleVotes via “Fightful Select,” less than three weeks before the October 10 Premium Live Event in New Orleans. According to the report, Penta’s position as an internal favorite was not part of the plan as recently as SummerSlam.
